A 60-day voyage circling the Land Down Under was terminated days after the tragic passing of an elderly female passenger who was left behind by the cruise liner on a isolated coastal location.

The passenger had been hiking on Lizard Island with other travelers from the cruise ship, but broke off from the excursion for a pause. The vessel departed without her and returned after some time after the ship staff realised the woman was unaccounted for.

An extensive hunt located her person the next day.
